Matthew Doudt

Matt first came to Meridian Music in 1992 as a piano technician. Fresh out of graduate school and finishing up an apprenticeship in Piano Technology, he quickly became a valuable asset to Meridian’s technical staff. Over the next 10 years, Matt learned how to diagnose, repair, design, install and train customers on almost everything Meridian Music sold. While his ability to understand and fix almost any problem made him highly valuable, his ability to talk with customers as a passionate teacher helped him find his current position.

After a four year hiatus working full time in Contemporary Church Music, Matt was invited to return to Meridian Music as a full time sales person. He is still the resident technical expert including all digital piano repairs but his focus is now on educating customers and helping them select the perfect instrument for their family.

Matt’s background as a teacher, technician, musician, parent and pastor makes him perfectly suited for Meridian’s approach to sales. He works from a philosophy of service and the absolute belief that music improves life. "Most stores will sell you anything you’ll purchase. I believe with all my heart that the right instrument will bring a lifetime of joy and the wrong instrument will end up as furniture. I’m committed to spending the time and building the relationship it takes to find that perfect piano for you."

Matt lives in Noblesville with his wife, Jennifer and four daughters. They have a small recording studio and are passionately pursuing music and creative arts as a family.
